Hay 18 estrellas Michelin. Es m\u00e1s, de los 10 restaurantes con tres estrellas Michelin que hay en el estado, tres est\u00e1n en San Sebasti\u00e1n y su entorno: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#akelarre\" target=\"_self\">Akelarre<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#arzak\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Arzak<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#berasategui\" target=\"_self\">Mart\u00edn Berasategui<\/a>. Adem\u00e1s, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#amelia\" target=\"_self\">Amelia<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#mugaritz\" target=\"_self\">Mugaritz<a>, cuentan con dos estrellas Michelin, y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#alameda\" target=\"_self\">Alameda<\/a>, Ama, Ibai, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#elkano\" target=\"_self\">Elkano<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansebastianturismoa.eus\/en\/eat\/michelin-stars#kokotxa\" target=\"_self\">Kokotxa<\/a> con una estrella. Es un hecho extraordinario. Tambi\u00e9n desde 2006, el restaurante Arzak se ha incluido entre los 10 mejores restaurantes del mundo, y en 2012 Elena Arzak, la cuarta generaci\u00f3n en el restaurante Arzak, fue nombrada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arzak.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Elena-Arzak-22Soy-mas-tozuda-que-mi-padre22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mejor cocinera de g\u00e9nero femenino del mundo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">En San Sebasti\u00e1n hemos convertido la cocina en un laboratorio de ideas y en un taller de creatividad reconocido en todo el mundo. Hemos hecho de la gastronom\u00eda un arte, una ingenier\u00eda, una se\u00f1a de identidad. La historia de este restaurante comienza con los abuelos de Juan Mari Arzak quienes construyeron esta casa, en el a\u00f1o 1897, que en sus inicios fue bodega y taberna. Paquita Arratibel la madre de Juan Mari fue quien la convirti\u00f3 en una casa de comidas donde se serv\u00edan platos tradicionales vascos y donostiarras. En los noventa tras la incorporaci\u00f3n de Elena Arzak, la hija de Juan Mari, vuelve a crearse ese t\u00e1ndem familiar tan importante en la historia de este restaurante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">La materia prima, la cocina vasca tradicional, la creatividad, la vanguardia y la constante evoluci\u00f3n marcan la cocina de autor de los Arzak.
